Unfortunately, the state of healthcare in the U.S. and the cost of housing are dictating my decision.
Clair and I indulged in the fantasy of doddering into old age together, but alas, it's not to be.
I had a lovely dream about moving to Hawaii last night so did a little investigating this morning. And while I would easily qualify for adequate healthcare there, the housing cost in Hawaii is the highest of all 50 states. What one hand giveth, the other hand taketh away!

The medical care & services are not very good here in Clovis. I'll validate that fact for you.
